John Fitzgerald Kennedy's Life and Family
If you looked at the title, JFK is short for John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He was born in May 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, Massachusetts. His parents were Joseph and Rose Kennedy. He was one of nine children. His mom Rose died on January 22, 1995. His dad Joseph died on November 16, 1969. His parent were very wealthy and it was a tragic day when both of them died. Sixteen years before his dad Joseph died, John F. Kennedy married Jacqueline Lee Bouvier and she became his wife on September 12, 1953. At least 800 guests attended the Kennedys' wedding (JFK and Jacqueline). The wedding was hosted on a sunny Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Newport and 3,000 more people waited outside to catch a glimpse of the glamorous newlyweds.
